Betty Jo moved to Florida five years ago after living in the Midwest her entire life, and the lure of fun in the sun slowed her writing  productivity, but she's now back in action.  She has several new electronic novels published by a fantastic new company, Books We Love Publishing Partners. Great news for those who have a Kindle or Nook or any of the fascinating and easy-to-use e-readers.

You can buy Betty Jo's latest books at reasonable prices so many places—BWLPP. Smashwords, Amazon… They're everywhere.  Mystic Mansion (released October 25, '10), and How Not to Date a Hollywood Star (November 24) are young adult mysteries with paranormal elements. In No Rain, No Rainbows, a previously Eppie-nominated anthology, teens and preteens learn how to successfully handle life situations while reading eight suspenseful fiction stories.

And for adults and mature young people, I think you'll love Impossible Dreams (June 1,'11) and  Male Wanted (August 3, '11), both romantic comedies.

Plus, two more books will be released in late August and in September.  For a preview, see if you can find them on these websites:

Betty Jo is working more and playing less because her creative ideas just won't let her rest. In addition to writing new novels, she is an online instructor for Writers' Digest University.

Writers Exchange E-Publishing has released the re-edited

TITLE: Gracie's Holiday Hero
AUTHOR: Betty Jo Schuler

Gracie Holiday Hero cover

It's the first day of December, snow is in the air, and Gracie
Singleton Saylor's shopping for a Christmas tree when she runs smack into Merett Bradmoore, her high school hero. She can tell at once he's not the happy-go-lucky guy he used to be.

Fifteen years ago, Gracie's family faced a holiday without food or
gifts and the handsome high school senior came to their rescue. Gracie, a freshman, fell a little in love with Merett that night and she's
believed ever since that dreams do come true. Seeing that Merett,
widowed with a seven-year-old daughter, has changed, Gracie is
determined to return his gift of optimism. But can she return his hope
without losing her own?

Enter the zoning board, an old enemy, and the personal problems of her two sisters Hope and Faith. Mix in a mischievous cat named Spook, a huge furry mutt named Dumbbell, and a man who's showing the spirit of Scrooge, and you wonder. Can holiday magic triumph?

Betty Jo Schuler writes at her central Florida home, where she collects teddy bears, glass paperweights, and what her grown kids call “Betty Jo-isms—sayings you have to think about twice. “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got,” is one she likes about writing.

“I suppose that’s why I write in several genres,” she says. “I like trying something different.” And she must, since her fifteen published books run the gamut from romance novels to anti-bullying non-fiction and range in audience age from early chapter books to adult fiction.

Betty Jo, who has a B.S. and M.A. in elementary education and taught school for twenty-three years, instructs online courses for Writers' Digest University.
